Dr. Kyoko Kusakabe is a professor of gender and development studies at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), and a Vice-Chair of Gender in Aquaculture and Fisheries Section (GAFS) of Asian Fisheries Forum. She is a gender expert with over two decades of experience in the aquaculture and fisheries sector. She is a principal investigator of many international projects and has experience in working for development projects and is familiar with the practical issues faced in gender and M&E.

Dr. Meryl Williams is a past chair of Gender in Aquaculture and Fisheries Section of the Asian Fisheries Society (GAFS). As the former Director General of WorldFish Center as well as the former Chair of the Governing Board for Australian Centre for International Agriculture Research and many other organizations, she is a highly respected figure in gender in aquaculture and fisheries globally.

Dr. Nikita Gopal is a principal scientist of ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Kochi, Kerala. She is an agroeconomist by training, and her recent work focuses on gender issues in small-scale fisheries and aquaculture, plus strategic program reviewing. She is currently the Chair of the Gender in Aquaculture and Fisheries Section of Asian Fisheries Forum. She is not only a good researcher herself but a great mentor, guiding a number of young researchers studying gender and fisheries and aquaculture.

Dr. Arlene Nietes Satapornvanit is a gender equality and social inclusion expert in sustainable fisheries and aquaculture, and the Treasurer of Gender in Aquaculture and Fisheries Section of the Asian Fisheries Society (GAFS). She has rich experience in working on sustainable fisheries projects with USAID, CIDA and other development organizations in Southeast Asia. She has a vast network in the region and will bring with her the practical experience in developing and using gender M&E tools.

Dr. Kafayat Fakoya is a fisheries scientist from Nigeria, and the Secretary of the Gender in Aquaculture and Fisheries Section of the Asian Fisheries Society (GAFS). She is currently an associate professor at Lagos State University in Nigeria. She is an experienced researcher specializing in small-scale fisheries and aquaculture, with an active international network. She has been a co-principal investigator of a number of international projects and has been working as consultant for international organizations such as FAO.

Dr. Alice Ferrer is a professor of economics in the University of the Philippines Visayas, and the Constitution Committee Coordinator of the Gender in Aquaculture and Fisheries Section of the Asian Fisheries Society (GAFS). She was the past president of Asian Fisheries Society and has been active in research on fisheries and aquaculture in coastal communities, especially focusing on gender.

Mr. Prak Sereyvath is a director of Cambodian Institute for Research and Rural Development. He has a M.Sc. on tropical agriculture development and over 20 years work experience in the field of agriculture-based rural development. He has led over 20 research projects with over 10 international and national agencies.

Dr. Malasri Khumsri is the Head of Aquaculture and Business Research and Development Group, Inland Aquaculture Research and Development Division, Department of Fisheries, Bangkok, Thailand. She has more than 25 years of working experiences with the Department of Fisheries, about 5 years working as the Fisheries Management Specialist for the Fisheries Programme of the Mekong River Commission. She has working experiences in the fields of inland aquaculture, gender in fisheries, transboundary fisheries management, culture-based aquaculture, fisheries co-management, socio-economic, promoting small scale fisheries and international cooperation project.

Dr. Veena N. has a Ph.D. on gender and development studies. She has successfully organized the 7^th Global Symposium on Gender in Aquaculture and Fisheries (GAF7) and has experience in working on various international research projects including fishing communities in Thailand and on marine plastic.
